Our Story
Our business was established in 1978 in the Welsh-border market town of Welshpool. The business grew steadily and it gradually became apparent that pre-loved jewellery offered everything that many customers were looking for; individual, unique and bespoke designs at affordable prices. This, coupled with approachable, friendly service gave County Goldsmiths the stellar reputation it still upholds today. Our customers have become customers for life; many we now regard as friends.
We really care about our jewellery – it is a surviving symbol of our past and something to treasure and share for the future. We take great pride in the standard of our pieces and we are always interested in jewellery and watches you perhaps no longer require; we are happy to buy or part exchange on quality items. We also offer insurance valuations and full restoration, restringing, resizing and repair for old and tired pieces that need a new lease of life.
